The Oak Hill Cemetery uses the Find a Grave website to maintain over 4,125 burial listings and is the first stop for any genealogist researching the cemetery. Many listings have accompanying photos of the memorial or monument. In the event the listing does not have a photograph, you may request one be added. To make a request, you must create a free account for the Find a Grave web site and use their request form.
If you need to explore farther afield, Histopolis, a collaborative genealogy and history site, has an active list of the surrounding area communities and their cemeteries.
If you're planning a visit to the cemetery, the maps below should give you a helping hand.
Are you smartphone enabled? Download the free Find a Grave mobile app from your app store. Be sure to turn on your phone's GPS while driving through the cemetery. GPS coordinates may also be requested for inclusion in burial listings. E.g. GPS of Daniel Van Brunt (lat/long): 43.43827, -88.64008
